What’s Wopad?

Wopad is a brand of China tablets from Yanbo Co. Ltd Shenzhen. Among Wopad series Android tablets, there are two main families: Wopad i-family (including Wopad i7 & Wopad i8) based Rockchip RK2918 chip and Wopad V-family (including Wopad V7, Wopad V8 & Wopad V10) based on Vimicro VC882 chip. Besides, Wopad also has the early SuperPad (also called “Flytouch 3“) and latest Wopad A10 based on ALLWINNER A10 processor. Wopad i7 is a common edition equipped with a 7-inch 5-Point capacitive touchscreen, while Wopad i8 is a high-end edition equipped with a 8-inch 1024*768 high-definition capacitive touchscreen. Compared against Wopad i-family, the V-family is based on Vimicro VC882 chip with main frequency 1GHz, actual performance of which is a little weaker than RK2918, but Vimicro VC882 has lower price and more stable performance than RK2918.

Cortex A8 Wopad V Series

1. 7-inch Wopad V7

The 7-inch Wopad V7 is the cheapest A8 tablet currently. Appearance of Wopad V7 is like Samsung P1000, and its performance is basically at the same level as mainstream Android tablets.

2. 8-inch Wopad V8

The 8-inch Wopad V8 is equipped with an HD capacitive touchscreen, resolution 1280*768. Based on Vimicro VC882 processor and matched with 1GB large internal memory, Wopad V8 is definitely the killer of 8-inch android tablets.

3. 10.1-inch Wopad V10

Wopad V10 is the upgraded model of previous whitebox Flytouch tablets based on Infotmic X220. Running speed of Wopad V10 based on Cortex A8 processor is much faster than ARM11 X220.
