From single core to dual core, then to current quad core, from SD(800*480) screen to HD(1280*800) screen, to ultra HD(2048*1536) screen exceed the the limit of human eye. The score of Google Nexus 10 is 13642 while Ployer MOMO19 is 12463. The score difference is not large. In the exact factors which can affect the test scores, we can find that Nexus 10 takes advantages in RAM performance and 2D graphics performance while MOMO19 do better in 3D performance and database I/O performance, SD reading speed. In CPU performance, the difference between them is not big. In the test, the eight engine architecture GPU of MOMO19 has obvious advantages, more than 400 scores higher than Nexus 10 which indicates that the performance has obvious progress after its GPU upgraded.
After using these two products for a while, we found Nexus 10 ran smoothly with Android 4.2, no delay in multi-task. However, at the same time, we can feel that the higher CPU frequency of Nexus cost more consumption than MOMO19. Although it uses plastic backboard, we can still feel obvious heat while MOMO19 which uses more metal material in the back has no such heat problem on CPU. The quad core CPU of MOMO19 completed the same tasks, but its consumption is much lower.
We have noticed that the battery capacity of Nexus 10 is 9000mAh. However, it drives a 2560*1600 resolution screen. Its battery capacity is lower than that of iPad 4 whose capacity is larger than 10,000mAh. So compare with iPad 4, the standby time of Nexus 10 is a big shortcoming. Turning back to MOMO19, although without HD screen, the significant independent power management system better than ever before, the continuous 10 hours of 4K ultra clear video playback is a very good proof.
Through the contrast between MOMO19 and Nexus 10, we see the highlights of new generation quad core processor, the excellent power consumption efficiency. This is the trend of multi-core competition, not only the core number comparison. In the aspect of GPU performance, MOMO19 also surprised us. In the future, 3D applications especially games will requires better hardware, MOMO19 has very good potentiality.
